Just toggle the NSFW setting on your account, way easier. lemmynsfw has been pretty great at correctly flagging all NSFW content correctly.

That’s a bad solution. There are many reasons posts other than porn would be NSFW. I don’t want to never be able to see a NSFW post, I just don’t want half of my /all feed to be porn.

It’d be nice if there were more granular tags: porn, gore, language, etc.

There is NSFW stuff I’d like to see that isn’t porn.

The more communities you block, the wilder the ones that you start seeing get, too. Once you’ve blocked all the ‘normal’ porn, only the really gnarly stuff remains.

Where are these gnarly communities you speak of?

Y’know, so I can make sure to avoid them

What you’re looking for hoping to avoid can probably be found here. So you can pre-emptively block them, obviously.

Not trying to argue, but I set my app to sort by Hot in my Subscriptions. I never see porn there because I don’t sub to it.

If you sort by local or all, sorry, but you’re going to see porn. And I’d say it’s a little unreasonable to expect there not to be, there’s going to be many things many people post about that you aren’t interested in. If you want a curated feed use subscriptions.

Is there some bug where it’s automatically following porn communities? I haven’t experienced such a thing yet.
