Just jumped from Reddit and trying to find my way around. Quick question: I signed up at lemmy.world, and I can subscribe to ‘local’ communities, but I’d really like to subscribe to the Linux community on lemmy.ml. Is thot possible?

And what are a group of Lemmy users called? Are we Lemmings? Jumped off the end of the Reddit cliff and ended up here?

I also like lemmings. I saw someone somewhere suggest “cliffs” as a name for subs/communities because of the (unfair) connection to lemmings.

Yes, it’s possible. Just search for the community here and it will show up as “[email protected]

if you’re on desktop you can hit the explore communities button, hit the all tab, and view all communities that have federated with lemmy world. From there you can also subscribe to them.

Everybody on the fediverse is a Fedizen and additionally every user of Lemmy is a lemming
