I have NZBgeek and Tabula Rasa setup with readarr, but it seems to struggle to find most books. Any recommendations for indexers that handles eBooks better?

Yeah I use a combo of NZBgeek, DrunkenSlug and Althub. Althub seems the best for books. Anything I can’t find I go to Library Genesis

As a Usenet newbie, how does one go about finding ebooks? (Epubs preferably)

I’m on newshosting. I haven’t come up with a single ebook I’ve looked for.

Manually searching in newshosting’s reader. I had no idea other indexers would pull up different results.

Yeah, from my understanding the more indexers the better. If you want to just try some out, I know the usenet community on Reddit has a list of some of the free indexers. They typically have a daily limit but not a bad place to start if you’re just getting into usenet. Also if you do a lot of downloading, you should check out the arr software. In my experience it works really well with usenet.

It’s not an answer to your question, but I’ve gone down a similar path before. In the end, I just do it the old way using some sites and you can use tabula rasa to keep things organized. I have the same approach for music.
