What Happened to Caleb and Beau After the Solstice?

The last time Caleb and Beau were seen, they had met up with Bells Hells as they prepared to prevent Ludinus from unleashing his plans for the Red Moon Ruidus during the Apogee Solstice. The two assisted the younger team and discussed a plan to communicate once they entered the pit. However, Caleb got captured by the mage hunter golem, and Beau got charmed by Liliana, Imogen’s mother. By the end of the episode, they were forced to watch Ludinus enact his plan. The pair went missing after the explosion, with Beau seemingly tied up and Caleb wearing a silencing collar.

The Mighty Nein Reunited

Critical Role had a Mighty Nein Reunion in 2022, set a decade before the events of Campaign 3. During the course of the two-episode reunion:

• The Mighty Nein defeated Fjord’s former deity, Uk’otoa, once and for all.
• Fans also celebrated as the reunion concluded with an oft-debated ship confirming its legitimacy as Caleb and Essek shared a kiss.

The only crew member that did not appear was Taliesin Jaffe’s Caduceus, who remained in the Blooming Grove. Instead, Jaffe played Kingsley Tealeaf, the new soul inhabiting Lucian/Mollymauk’s body as of Campaign 2’s final episode. It remains unclear who Jaffe will play come the Mighty Nein Reunion.
