I get this a lot as a tall person:

As someone with a broken anxiety response, you could be a gentle sloth and still startle me
As a tall person, I quiet my footsteps when approaching someone because I get a kick out of startling people.
My favorite is when I enter a room as someone who was in there alone is walking away from the door, so that by the time they reach the other side and turn around, I’m right behind them.
I do the same! I feel seen friend.
Except most people aren’t self-aware enough to know they’re disturbing you.
People should walk into traffic more
This perfectly illustrates why I get more done when working from home. People popping into my office exactly like that when they could have just sent me an email.
Classic extrovert time wasting, I couldn’t imagine going back to that environment and being productive
