On June 28, 2023, a 17-year-old boy named Nael was shot and killed by a police officer during a traffic stop in Nanterre, a suburb of Paris. The officer, who has not been publicly identified, said that he opened fire after Nael tried to run him over with his car. However, video footage of the incident shows that Nael was already driving away when he was shot.
The video also shows how the police officer told him that he’s gonna get a bullet in the head.
I’ve really been hoping for a sequel to Athena.
I forgot about Athena! Heard good things about it.

Unfortunately the French have lost their touch. If the protests against the pension reform achieved nothing , what can we hope this will achieve :(

The teen was not shot for “violating traffic laws”. The teen was shot for disobeying a direct, lawful order of a police officer to stop his vehicle.
I do not know what the intention of the “news” organization is, but it is clearly inflammatory.
Remind me what was the lawful order in “I’m going to put a bullet in your head”?
Found the liberal.
Idiot who thinks the response to the article should be to argue semantics of why the teenager was fatally shot instead of expressing outrage that the teenager was fatally shot at all =/= liberal.
Stop lumping people you think are stupid together into your single idea of a group you don’t like. I’m a liberal and the person you replied to was an idiot.
The teenager should not have been shot at all, indeed. Fascist police killed a person for shits and giggles.
@Raphael @electriccars Do we know of a reason why the police shot him, other than “he was disobeying an order to stop the vehicle”? I’d be lying if I said I knew much about the case, all I know is the cop shot the teen as he started to drive away.
I don’t know and I don’t care, unless the kid was an armed thug trying to commit crimes. Whatever they may have said, however they may have acted, it’s not excuse for killing a person.
The police is supposed to protect the people, not kill them.
