I can’t wait for them to pivot to an ASMR channel with such classics as “hvac system comes on in empty office” and “executives celebrate cutting costs with golden parachute openings.”
Second wind is their YouTube channel, don’t bother trying to find any links to it, because modern journalism is shrouded and recursive, and Google is shit.

Yeah, I’m not sure they put much thought into the brand name, hopefully the product will elevate it! And maybe it’ll keep acquisition companies from knocking on their door?
I’m digging on the logo. Looks like a stylized phoenix, which fits the “rebirth” vibe of a name like second wind.

Basically the entire old company quit at once, which does make these things easier.
This has to have been in the planning/development stages for a while. What we may not know is whether they were planning on launching now anyway or whether they moved their plans up after the editor was fired.
What happened with the escapist? Can’t say I even paid much attention, but I’ve been a follower of Zero Punctuation and Yahtzee’s handful of novels for years.
they fired someone and it seems that it was in very bad terms because almost everyone /everyone escaped the escapist, they probably saw what was coming and that they provided the actual value to the company.
Looks like Yahtzee left voluntarily, so it seems like zero punctuation will be done with the upcoming episode.
