I know this feeling, my dad spoke Spanish and when ever someone found out they assumed I could. Felt so awkward sitting there and having to say I can’t speak it. 🫣

When people mistake you for being Hispanic all the time because you’re brown, live in Texas, and have a non-English name. But you’re not hispanic and don’t know any Spanish.
