      Yeah, it would be absolutely horrifying to be a brain with no external senses.

      It’s impossible to even imagine what that would be like. Would you still “feel” a body? Would there be phantom pains? Would you just be going through a dream-like state or would you be completely blank except for your thoughts?

      Horrifying.

        I’d imagine that since our brains have to interpret all information (not just the sensory we are conscious of, but also incoming “status updates” from all of our anatomical systems) that it would be so confused with the lack of information it would be too over/underwhelmed to spare the energy for organized conscious thought.

    I encourage everyone to keep knee jerk reactions at bay and RTFA. This could help us learn a lot about interactions between the brain and the rest of the body

    did any of you guys read this article? This is just about the blood, not the nerves. Basically to assist with research about what different concentrations of blood nutrients do.
