Yeah 196 has been a thing for years, reddit just hushed them and other disproportionately active subs down with their algorithms to stop them taking over all, which is fair enough really as it’s good to have a mix of subs as long as there’s still a chance for each to show

Bit of a paradox of tolerance situation here. Communist regimes have been some of the most dehumanizing in existence. It’s perfectly reasonable to not support them.

Hell, afro-americans had very positive experiences when visiting the USSR, being treated like an equal human being for one. Not even talking about soviets pushing sex equality in every field of life. Things like these were very much unheard of in the US at the time.
