Exactly … the world is perfectly balanced between making as much profit as possible without killing you or making you deathly ill. As well as exploiting workers as much as possible without leading them to revolt.

Without proof it is killing you or deathly ill. Probable deniability, low doses of toxins and broad spectrum of possible causes let companies use many toxic substances.

Agreed, why disclose toxic effects now when someone else may or may not do that for you 20, 30 or 50 years from now when it no longer matters.

Oh there’s plenty of proof. But it’s all “inconclusive” and “needs further study”. Worse yet, everything is assumed healthy or good so the burden is always on you. Lead. Asbestos. Cigarettes. Carbon from cars. Thalidomide. Microplastics. Which is on a greater scale than anything we’ve ever seen. So clearly the problem is fixing itself 🙃

Because money now. I said money now! You give money now!

This can be very dangerous as many pesticides are persistent organic pollutants. They don’t break down easily and get stuck in the soil or waterways (groundwater and surface waters). It is very difficult to remove many of these substances once they have contaminated the soil and water.

Canadian officials take a permissive stance and allow pesticides unless there is proof the chemicals cause harm to the environment or human health…

There’s so much wrong with that. WTF?
