Nooooooooo!
It really sucks. But based on the system requirements new games keep needing, I’m not too hyped to play a port of an old game that needs modern drm and a rtx 6090ti. I still play og kotor 1 then 2 like once a year. The fan patch for kotor 2 makes it a lot better as they reimplemented a lot of the dialog that didn’t get used.
Still have original discs from BF 1, 2 and KOTOR 1, 2 that i play every now and again on the xbox. Don’t need a remake because they’d probably just fuck it up.
My partner and I both have modern gaming systems anyways, for other games. I would like to replay it, and she hasn’t played it yet. I’d even pay for a remaster if it looks 2012-ish instead of 2007, and works out of the box with normal modern resolutions.
It seems really weird that they’re having such problems with this project, as I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels like this, and any KOTOR remake or remaster should be very profitable
This drummed up so much excitement. I’d think this would be free money when the entire game has already been made.
