That idiot could have killed everyone on the island by introducing new pathogens, and he came there with the intent of destroying their culture on top of it. I’m glad they killed him.

It’s creepy to the indigenous people. A religious nutjob who is willing to knowingly infect you with unknown pathogens like a Typhoid Mary and potentially commit genocide because he wants to be God’s messenger.

      True sociopath.

when he tried to hand over fish and gifts, a boy shot a metal-headed arrow that pierced the Bible he was holding in front of his chest

they may be primitive, but their grasp of symbolism is pure Hollywood… are we sure they don’t have HBO?

I mean it could’ve just been a fluke.

Like the kid was tryna kill him but the bible just happened to be in the way. I could see a Bible potentially stopping an arrow but it’s not gonna stop the next dozen

I prefer to think the message was “we’ve had fun, dipshit, but one of our kids can put an arrow through your heart at 100 paces and will do it for real next time. Fuck off with your gifts, we want nothing you can offer us.”

In November, Chau embarked on a journey to North Sentinel Island, which he thought could be “Satan’s last stronghold on Earth”,[16]

We’d all be living in paradise if only he had succeeded. 😔

In my mind the staff made sure to go “wow mr. Missionary thanks for telling us about Jesus!” after a day because they were tired of his shit.

He is the reason that “Missionary Position” now means facedown in the dirt with a back full of arrows.

Were any of the people at All Nations who specifically trained and supported him for this ever arrested? Seems like they should have been arrested.
