Does anyone know if Lemmy automatically strips exif data from images posted?
And if so, does that change if you’re using an app (e.g. Jerboa, Connect)?
That probably would depend on the instance you upload to. Best practice would be to strip yourself first.

Highly doubt it, but if I was you I would test it and find out instead of listening to a random comment here.
I wouldn’t trust it to work all the time even if it did (not a thing against Lemmy, I wouldn’t trust any site to work 100% of the time) so I would just strip it myself before uploading.
