Just opened it to look at the page myself. It feels like an old friend died in a way. Not on any level nearly that emotional obviously, but still similar.

End of an era
😭 baconreader was my app. I’m going to miss it dearly. I still have it installed and I’m not sure if I’ll ever be able to bring myself to uninstall it.
I’ll never bring myself to it. Not unless they come out with a Lemmy browser.
I was scrolling through F-Droid last night and saw Jerboa and decided to give it a shot before BaconReader went to sleep. Best decision of my life

Oddly I never got that. I paid for several android and iOS Reddit apps over the years and all of them were excellent.
