Getting an error that says language not allowed when trying to post comments. Appears random; can comment within some communities and get it on some threads but not others
Also, is it possible to search within a community? I see the ability to search for communities and to search for posts but not to search for posts within a community. So sorry if this has been posted about, couldn’t figure that one out. Great app so far though!

For the comment issue, try going to lemmy.world in browser, go to your settings, find the languages setting, and make sure it is set to undetermined. I had an issue with creating a community that lagged during created, set that to 0, and then I couldn’t make a new post at all in the community (I was not able to try commenting).
Gave that a shot, was set to undefined. Thanks for the suggestion! Will see if that clears things up
I think you want undetermined to be selected, because if the system can’t determine the language (which it often can’t) it just won’t show you or let you interact with those posts. But I don’t have a full in depth understanding of how that setting works, I just obeyed the warning near that setting and have seen it cause issues when another language is there
Are you on the latest version? Had that problem as well, but it was fixed some days ago.
