I hope nobody was spammed too badly by my flash of new content to the sub today. I had been out most of the week for work without access to my normal tools for … reasons, and I decided to catch up on a bunch of links I have in a RSS feed specifically for aggregation here.

It seems at least someone was peeved, as half way through my posting, someone reported a post to admin as spam (which was instantly resolved as nothing) and then, I assume, downvoted every post I’d made up to that point.

Haters gonna hate, I guess.

On a related note, if you are a developer capable of writing an automod-type bot against the Lemmy API which, among other things, could create posts based on a list of RSS feeds, I’d like to talk to you. I have some specific ideas about how it should work without being spammy.
