“No one threatened to kill Dylan Mulvaney. We threatened to (and made good on) no longer drinking Bud Light,” Owens tweeted on Thursday. “I’m so sick of the ‘trans community’ pretending they are Black people surviving the klan in the 1920′s — while [they] shake their fake implants on the White House lawn.”

What a fucking asshole.

Christ on a bike it’s not the Oppression Olympics. Can we at least agree that very bad things have happened to both? Fucks sake.

Also this. I dunno man there’s just something about the whole “YOUR [characteristic/group/whatever] hasn’t suffered as much as MY [characteristic/group/whatever]” that just hurts my brain.

Yeah. My community has suffered immensely. Queerness has carried death penalties. We have been denied love. Just everything with AIDS. But black gay people didn’t get a pass on that shit. They just got racism too. If I’m not anti racist I’m hurting people of color in my own community. But also even if I wasn’t, I’d still be hurting my fellow people who’ve been hurt by a hierarchical society.

Every advancement for people of color is a victory in my book, because I don’t want equality just for queer people. I want equality for everyone.

And that’s not even getting into how basically all queer political activism tactics that worked came from black queer people taking the tactics that worked when they were fighting in the black civil rights movement. Us white queer people owe them a great debt.

It’s probably naïveté on a massive scale on my part but I too just want equity for my fellow humans. We end up fighting with each other instead of fighting for each other.

I don’t see it as naïveté, I see it as wisdom and courage. Leaks have shown that the people pushing the current wave of transphobia include the literal Hapsburg family. The rich in America have admitted to stoking racism to keep poor whites in line. Fred Hampton understood who the enemies were, and he taught people it. He died for that.

    My God the irony…

Trans people aren’t being bullied" 10 seconds later “trans rights aren’t real and trans people are mentally deranged gay men who want to showcase their sexual fetishes publicly”

    Classic Candace Owens 🙃

She may be an asshole, but an irrelevant asshole she remains. She is basically a dinosaur whisperer. A relic of a bad idea, shouting loudly to soon-to-be ghosts that refuse to abandon the idea.

Black people on the 1920’s had to deal with “the klan” as sporadic and fairly localized pockets of violent racists that wanted them to “know their place”. Trans people have to deal with a nationwide, organized, and enabled group of people that want them to not exist, as well as a significant number of politicians who are legislating to ensure they do indeed cease to exist. Also, anyone that thinks that trans people do not and have not dealt with violence is a dip shit.

Yeah. I don’t take anything she says seriously. Candace Owens has shown herself to be just a shameless grifter who will say whatever she thinks will get her attention and/or money. Remember the Freedumb Phone lol?

There were more than a few death threats against Mulvaney. If it was just a bud light boycott, whatever, knock yourself out. Also, I thought “my oppression was worse than your oppression” is what the the right claims is leftist woke identity politics. JFC, Candace needs to pull her head out of her own ass. These people have no self awareness

Candace Owens has weighed in on the Dylan Mulvaney Bud Light controversy.

The right-wing podcaster, known for her support of Donald Trump and Kanye West, has responded to the trans influencer’s recent remarks about being “abandoned” by the iconic beer brand amid the backlash sparked by their partnership earlier this year.

“No one threatened to kill Dylan Mulvaney. We threatened to (and made good on) no longer drinking Bud Light,” Owens tweeted on Thursday. “I’m so sick of the ‘trans community’ pretending they are Black people surviving the klan in the 1920′s — while [they] shake their fake implants on the White House lawn.” Candace Owens and Dylan Mulvaney

The founder of the Blexit organization has been an outspoken critic of transgender identities.

“Transgenderism is, among other things, an utterly fictitious ‘civil rights’ movement, comprised mostly of a bunch of mentally deranged gay men that are looking for permission to live out their sexual fetishes publicly,” the polarizing pundit recklessly wrote in another tweet.

Owens’ remarks were a direct response to Mulvaney’s claims of experiencing “bullying and transphobia” earlier in the day.

The TikTok superstar took to social media to break her silence about the firestorm her association with Bud Light left in its wake.

“For months now, I’ve been scared to leave my house,” Mulvaney said in her 4-minute video. ”I have been ridiculed in public. I’ve been followed, and I have felt a loneliness that I wouldn’t wish on anyone.”

In early April, a short video posted on Mulvaney’s Instagram account showed her opening up a can of Bud Light with her face on it.

A conservative-led boycott ensued, causing Bud Light — which had been the bestselling brew nationwide since 2001 — to take a major decline in sales.
