    I love these very lightly edited articles. 100 miles per house could be a very sparsely populated area? Or perhaps the suspect has some very advanced offworldly control of physics.

      TV journalism, sigh. The gist of it’s usually correct, but they’re more about getting you to watch the newscast than spelling the words right. And grammar? Forget it.

        My local stations are even worse with the proofreading on their website… likely they’ve basically eliminated editors as a cost cutting measure. The articles read as if they are text automatically generated from audio and are barely glanced over before being published.

        Anyway, I don’t mean to detract from the serious content, but I thought that was an amusing typo.
