I was moderating this community and yesterday all of a sudden not only that community does not appear any more in my subscriptions, but also all the posts and comments I created there are “gone” from my user detail (i.e. they are not returned by the GET /user call), but they are still there and visible from anonymous users and from other accounts. Did I break some rule?

We did not purge you from our side. I can see a post from 3 days ago. If i go to there and check your local instances community nothing changes? Did you accidentally block your community? If you are subscribed unsubscribe and check again. And flip the “View Read Posts” on and off sometimes it fixes it.

I can only see that the pinned post isnt pinned here on lemmy.world, sadly this is a common issue with lemmy, just unpin wait a day, pin and it should be pinned soon on LW.

I confirm that I had accidentally blocked my community… maybe pressing options like a monkey in the webapp when trying to share a post. Sorry, I feel really stupid! As for the pin, I’ll check it. Thanks in the meantime 🙏🙏🙏 sorry for the nuisance.

I have done that more than ones myself, I have also accidentally blocked people when I wanted to block a community. Glad it was an easy fix.

Check your account settings. Flip the view read posts option.

The “show read posts” option is active. The strange thing is that it happens only for that specific community.

Hi there! Looks like you linked to a Lemmy community using a URL instead of its name, which doesn’t work well for people on different instances. Try fixing it like this: [email protected]
