I’m finding the new search a little cumbersome compared to previously.
When I put a search string into the field and click search nothing happens until you select the type of category.
I preferred before where it would list the three categories if you did this and associated results.
It’s nice to search only communities sometimes, for example, but I don’t want to tap 3 times to compete a search most of the time.

I’ll second this, I really liked the toggle feature in search that existed.
Also having the user count for communities would be great for those looking to join the main community of a topic regardless of the instance
I kind of like the new search.
However I think there might be an issue where you type something and need to tap away from search box then tap communities/post/people to get to the result. It should have been only 1 tap. @[email protected]
Maybe it would be better to combine old + new. For example when typing a term then Return on keyboard, then it shows all results in addition to what it does now
