This is just one of my favorite videos on the internet, and I wish PE teachers were this smart and kind in elementary school. Because I remember everyone trying to do pull ups for the test and most people couldn’t do any. But like… if they had taught us how to do intermediary ones and had us do them before the test we actually would have succeeded and learned the importance of building up to exercises.

Which I feel like would have been a much better education compared to having half the class fail to do a pull up.

He is! I actually downloaded his app that he just released and it’s basically these series turned into tracking for you, so you don’t need to worry about finding the video for the form, or how many you’re supposed to do at what level, and all that jazz. So it’s really cool.

App is free because Hampton is the goat of wanting you to exercise in a healthy and safe way that works for you.

Just bought some of his gymnast rings. Probably a lot safer than the deadlifts I’ve been doing in the garage.

Straight up, I think I would have been athletic as a kid if he was available.

Like he just makes working out feel so attainable and puts no shame on wherever you are at.

      From cold? Sure.

But the average male weight is in the region 190-200lb and with a years worth of practice you could lift 300lb no problem.

Super fit guy shows how easy exercise is…with special fixed bars and specialist equipment…

Gonna head out the backyard for a few sets and supersets right now! Then I’m gonna crawl under my table and headbutt the underside a few times to check my form!

The first step involves a wall, and every other step can be done with either an adjustable pull up bar you put in your door way and raise/lower, or gymnast rings you can put over a tree branch because you can adjust them as you go.

Finding the idea of needing a pull up bar or gymnast rings to do different variants of pull ups offensive is wild. Especially when the first step needs like a pole, wall, or doorway.

I feel like you didn’t watch the video.

Brah, he spends more time talking to his chickens.than he does about how to do pullups without equipment.

I feel like you didn’t watch the video at all.

So you’re mad that you need a pull up bar or similar to do pull ups? Which can be bought cheaply and installed in a door way or tree branch? Even when the first step can be done without?

I mean if thats what you’re annoyed by, you do you.
