Honestly a bit crazy there is such a global fantasy for this and yet no media had made it happen.

I don’t think our media is controlled by some north Korean dictatorship that’s only used to keep us placated and patriotic

Wasn’t that a fairly major plot point in “Fight Club”?

Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 had a global default and everybody lost their debt or savings.

And the bankers funded a real life Hollywood movie to bury that franchises from ever reaching the main stream zeitgeist

A case could sure be made that financial capitalists are the real monsters. I am one. Like it or not, I’m sure most of my family’s money comes from the sweaty back-breaking work of others. When I came into my trust (late in life) I had one big advantage, in that I’d stopped helping contribute to that world. Now I’m retired and although still pretty young I can’t see how not to be grouped in with the other monsters. I guess I what I am. All I can do is give back and try not to be a dick to other people (which I’m not very good at). Am I Godzilla fodder? Is he really the God-Fodder of us all?

I got off the track there, sorry…

Vote in the interest of the greater good, vote for proper taxation (likely affecting you), and get involved with politics to encourage others to do the same. It’s honestly the most people can do. It’s not your fault the system sucks. (I’m assuming you’re not fabulously wealthy where you can actually invest your money to bring about positive change, just don’t-need-to-work weathly).

Well only semi-fabulously wealthy - I think that would be the case if I could claim it was all self-made money, since it was largely bequeathed somehow it doesn’t feel as much like personal wealth. I do pay my share in taxes, especially property taxes not to mention constant bills for groundskeeping and such. People thinking having money makes you lazy and complacent, but I say it really only makes you more worried about money and your obligations to others.
