I think Aaron would have given Steve the finger and walked too.

Gone far too soon. What happened to him was an absolute tragedy.

we need to set an instance/community in his name that documents all the greed aspects of internet companies and the sustainable and user friendly alternatives to fight those: like firefox is to Chrome, invidious, odysee, the fediverse, vpns, alternatives to isps (?) , i2p and p2p, Libgen, Anna’s archive …

I’ve never played it yet, and I have a Quest 2. Should I give it a go on VR? How long does it take to beat?

It’s definitely a classic and worth it to pick up. It’s an open world game but the main quest averages in the 20s.

VR with mods is an experience that I would recommend anyone living and breathing

As a very out of touch dude. Who is this again? I recognize that face and I recall being genuinely sad about his death but that’s it

Founder of Reddit and one of the developers of the RSS standard.

Huge Free speach advocate and very against intellectual “property”. He wanted knowledge to be free and accessible for everyone and killed himself after he was accused of things that could’ve brought him to prison for a very long time. He probably did these things which are kinda similar to things Sci-Hub does nowadays.

You got some good answers already but I just wanted to add…

The DOJ overcharged the hell out of him. Non violent, first time offender looking at decades? They were putting the screws on him in the hopes he’d plea, again to an unreasonable amount of time. Feels unethical to me.
