Just to clarify nothing in the Bible is eye witness testimony. It’s written by anonymous authors decades after Jesus’s death.

Nevermind the fact that eye witness testimony is in general extremely unreliable. The Bible doesn’t even have that. All it has, is a bunch of unsubstantiated claims by anonymous people.

Battlefield earth had a scene like that. “Man animals can’t fly” and throws a person over ravine.

Was it? I thought that one was after earth with will smith.

Or were there 2 propaganda ones that happen to have earth in the name?

Cause if that is true that’s lazy on them.

Travolta, a Scientologist, began attempting to adapt Battlefield Earth in the mid-1990s. He was unable to obtain major studio funding because of concerns regarding the script and its connections to Scientology

Also Battlefield Earth is the name of one of the inventor of Scientology’s books.

That is crazy. Thank for the info. I saw it in theaters as a kid so it was quite memorable for me.

“I don’t have to, because the knowledge of my ability to fly has already been imprinted upon the hearts of everyone on earth. If you truly decide to let my flying ability into your heart, you will quickly understand the power behind that truth.”

The burden of proof is always on the person making the claim. If they can’t prove their claim, their claim is simply dismissed. You never have to disprove an unproven claim. This is how all reality works. Religious people blatantly lie about reality, they are never to be trusted.

The key to religion is the last frame. If you don’t do what they say, and think how they say to think, then they get angry and resort to abuse, violence, murder, and finally - genocide.

    Alternatively:

    Religion simplified

Left guy: “I believe I can fly”

Right guy: “You are a sex offender”

Doesn’t quite work because there is not a high correlation of believing and being a sex offender. Religious leaders on the other hand…
