Meh, our Teams has been so janky lately people could get away with it.
I leave mine on Appear Away most of the time. People in my work area know they can message me anytime. People who think I’m away will not expect an immediate reply.
I personally did that too - as long as you don’t have a micromanage-y boss!
“Sorry boss, people keep nothing me for unimportant things so I set my status to “appear away” to make sure I can get my work done undisturbed!”
Or just use Move Mouse. It doesn’t require installation.
