    It wouldn’t inject eggs into a new host of the same species, it would either directly lay new eggs or find another species to inject. Maybe the only can be approached by a virgin thing is just them seeking out a healthy human host…

    If a parasite starts its cycle in the grass then ends its cycle in the grass.
