In Apollo, there was this really interesting feature that let you disable the gestures for voting/replying/etc. If you did so, then you could use the entire screen to navigate between posts instead of needing to swipe all the way from the side.

I struggle with a repetitive stress injury and this feature helped me a lot! I managed to grab a screenshot of the exact setting before Apollo shut down. It would be awesome if something similar could be implemented in Memmy

Would love this on Memmy. I used this on Apollo to make it super easy to go back and forward between pages.

Another feature Apollo had was the ability to use the tab navigation bar at the bottom for back / forward swipe gestures

I keep down voting instead of upvoting with the swipe gesture, and instinctively i go to swipe the other direction to change my vote and instead get a reply window.

This is my most requested feature as well.

It’s also not only intuitive with an injury, but it makes more sense than going with the right thumb all to the left on a bigger display to swipe back or use the bottom bar as some have suggested.

+1 on this - it feels too easy to attempt to swipe back, and inadvertently up/down vote a comment.

Definitely the feature I am missing the most coming from Apollo. The first app that has that, dark mode, and compact view will capture me. Right now I’m bouncing mostly between Memmy and wefwef.
