I must be weird, or maybe it’s because I used to date someone like Grey, but the impression I got about green is not that they said that because they didn’t want to go out anyway, it was that they were glad grey revealed themselves to be uninterested in them even if it was kind of in a sleazeball way, acting like it was just fine to cancel last minute to go be with someone else.

More like green was happy grey pretty much just sent up a red flag and confirmed that they dodged a bullet.

Them “wondering” implies they are capable of thought. They are not.

Except in most instances it’s not the buyer who pays the commission it’s the seller…

I was always under the impression that family guy’s intro was also a bit of an homage to All in the Family but I don’t know how many people would know that or if it’s even true

Not sure how it is in other countries, but I always assumed that a “life” sentence at least in the US just meant anything over 25 years

As I recall on Voyager with a little coaxing Tuvok was able to use the holodeck to get “relief” so I’d imagine the same goes for most vulcans who might be on long away missions

I always got the impression that Vulcan society operated similar to traditional Japanese or other societies where couples were “arranged” by families. Not sure about the one off cases though so maybe there is some kind of sex industry given the physiological toll if it’s not addressed in time

I work for Amazon corporate. I can emphatically agree that right now, and for the past few post-COVID years, Amazon’s only obsession is near term quarterly profits for stakeholders by any means necessary. To hell with long term investments. They are slowly sabotaging themselves internally with a lot of unpopular and frankly idiotic and nonsensical decisions that will ultimately result in cascading failure after failure. The enshittification continues.
