I did that. It was even bigger pain in the ass than I thought because the files are not alphabetically named. So when one file downloaded, I needed to rename it and add number before it. Didn’t want them to mix up. For each, file it was such a chore.

Because this is a fan-made project, each file has at the start and at the end ads for patreon, reddit and stuff like that. So I used some kind of mp3 trimmer to cut all of them automatically. It was not perfect but passable.

I might still have the files on some external hard drive, so if you give me some cloud shared folder or something I can upload it to you. I only know about free MEGA, but they have like 5 gigabytes limits and the book is like 11, If remember correctly.

Or alternatively, as I mentioned in the original post, you can use some podcast app like AntennaPod and listen there.

    Movies: Letterboxd

    TV Shows: Serializd

For books, I too use Storygraph. But I might switch to Hardcover later. I have been using Storygraph for like 3 years and in that time nothing really changed, improved there in my opinion. Socialization is almost non-existent. They still don’t have “profile” pages for authors. If you click on an author, all of their books are just thrown in there together in one place. No filters, no picture of the author, nothing.

Hardcover looks interesting, it’s a bit like letterboxd, that’s why I like it. App is a little bit slow and I wish more people used it because there is not a lot of reviews and ratings for books. So if you want an alternative to goodreads, which has a lot of users, then storygraph is probably the only option.

As far as I know, there is only some kind of AI summary for books. I wouldn’t call it “heavily into AI”. You can turn it off in the settings.

I am currently using Storygraph, but I might switch to Hardcover. Their app is really good looking, if a bit slow, and it is very letterboxy, which I like. They too have lists feature which is a lot better than just tags, in my opinion.

I like storygraph a lot but… I have been using it for around 3 years and in that time nothing substantial changed on that website. They still don’t have normal author page.
