Ich habe smarte Heizungsthermostate und möchte die abschalten, solange das Fenster offen ist. Die haben zwar eine eingebaute Erkennung für offene Fenster, da wird aber nur einmalig ein Timer gestartet. Wenn der abgelaufen ist, wird wieder voll geheizt, auch wenn das Fenster noch offen ist. Da ich es häufig vergesse, die Fenster in anderen Räumen rechtzeitig zu schließen, ärgert mich das doch ziemlich.

Ich hab einen Aeotech Zi-Stick. Laut deren Webseite gibt es eine Thread-Firmware dafür, aber es ist für mich nicht eindeutig, dass die dann weiterhin auch Zigbee kann. Das ist mir irgendwie alles zu unsicher, und dann muss ich ja auch bestimmt alle Geräte neu anlernen. Ich werde mir das bei Gelegenheit nochmal im Detail angucken.

Ich nehme mal an mit Homeassistant läuft der genauso problemlos. Leider bin ich bisher aber nicht mit den moderneren Standards kompatibel, bei mir ist noch alles Zigbee. Aber da ich wirklich gerne endlich Fenstersensoren haben möchte, und die von Ikea schon seit einer Weile beobachte, komme ich um einen neuen Adapter wohl nicht mehr herum.

Unfortunately that is not true. You pretty much cannot escape their claws. What really needs to happen is political measures. Just remember: You don’t become a billionaire by just working hard and no human should be allowed to have that much money.
