  • Would be a great move to pick someone new but right before the nomination. Lots of independents want anyone but these 2 old dudes. If either party picked a different candidate, I think they would easily take the White House.

(Unlikely) but if the dems really just had biden out there to take the brunt of trumps attacks up until the nomination, then a majority of trumps platform (biden bad) goes out the window, while the dems platform (trump bad) gets to remain in place.

Would be a galaxy brain strategy but I don’t think anyone in politics would be smart enough to pull something like that off.

  • From wiki

The first discussion of a U.S. Space Force occurred under President Dwight Eisenhower’s administration in 1958 and it was nearly established in 1982 by President Ronald Reagan as part of the Strategic Defense Initiative. The 2001 Space Commission argued for the creation of a Space Corps around 2007–2011, but due to the September 11 attacks and war on terror any plans were put on hold. In 2017, Representatives Jim Cooper and Mike Rogers’ proposal for a Space Corps passed the House but failed in the Senate. In 2019, the House and Senate resolved their differences to pass the United States Space Force Act. It was signed into law by President Donald Trump, establishing the U.S. Space Force as the first new independent military service since the Army Air Forces were reorganized as the U.S. Air Force in 1947.[9]

If you want to credit it to Eisenhower sure, but still technically it was established under trump so that’s the best I have for remembering what he did in office.

  • It’s out there already for anyone who wants to see it. If you haven’t heard his views on the war you’ve been living under a rock. Almost all media outlets shared his 2021? Essay on Ukraine. Were you outraged at that too?

    cnn reporting on his essay

I’d say this was actually a great outcome of an interview as most people heard his ramblings, laughed at it, and turned it off. Further making Putin and Russia look bad. That’s a great outcome.

Agreeeeed. Didn’t understand the backlash for him to go interview Putin, who cares, anyone can if the Kremlin agrees (turns out they turned a lot away). Getting this out of the interview was so disappointing though.

At the very least ask some form of question. Tucker was emasculated by Putin in this interview. We gained nothing from it but memes about 3000bc.

Tucker had a chance to prove a lot of people wrong about him, but instead was shown to cower in the presence of Putin.

Yup! Thank you. It’s not as big as it’s being made out to be (obviously people trying to get political points), but it’s still an issue that does need to be addressed, and it is disproportionately effecting some more than others. No one is going to start at civil war over something like this.

Eh. Something clearly needs to be done, and the concerns aren’t being addressed (and haven’t been for awhile). Congress and the senate haven’t done anything aside from attempt to impeach hunter Biden (from who knows what) or show off his dick.

Doubtful it’s any kind of civil war, but Texas (and other states) is being hit hard by the number of immigrants, and if the federal government can’t (or won’t?) do anything to curb it, makes sense that they will do something on their own.
