I just recently started rewatching and I was amused by the “gender neutral pac-person” arcade cabinet in the first season, a gag that became even more topical over time.

Agree. Most people don’t even understand how large a number a billion is. Mixing in weird unit conversions is a good way to make sure your point is lost. Next we tell people how many football stadiums we could fill with all the bleached coral reefs?

I think they’re covering their ass because someone on their team got caught doing the same thing.

If everything is watermarked no one will want to use it. At some point a competitor will arise that didn’t make these promises and everyone will switch to that service.
