A few things I might consider/think to try:

    • How old is the PLA you’re using? Is it possible it’s absorbed too much moisture?
    • Are you printing too fast or possibly under-extruding?
    • Skip the glue. I’ve found it’s just gunk that separates the filament from the print bed, worsening adhesion in my testing. Clean your print bed with rubbing alcohol before hand.
    • How old is your nozzle? If you’ve been printing for a few hundreds of hours, the inner diameter of the nozzle might be worn out.
    • How hot is your print bed? For PLA, I’ll usually keep mine around 60°C.

I don’t have a Bambu, but these are a few of the things I’ve learned with my Monoprice Maker Select v2 and Ankermake M5.

  • I had a 10th gen civic and loved it. Had I had more money a handful of years ago, I would have done a few upgrades to it.

If you have the 1.5L turbo engine that came on everything but the base model, you could upgrade the turbo and get a tune. That should put a bit more zip into it.

If you have the base model 2.0L, installing a turbo and all of the supporting mods on an NA vehicle is more expensive, time consuming, and frustrating for a first-timer. However, you could install an E85 kit to squeeze a bit more power out of it. Pair it with a tune and I bet you could get a bit past the 200hp mark.

These could be cheaper options than getting a similar car in a sport trim. However, I understand that modifying your daily driver can seem risky as well. If you’re mechanically inclined and feeling adventurous, I would encourage you to take a look at what upgrades can be done to your current car.

I haven’t used FreeCAD before, but if it’s anything like inventor or fusion360, you might be able to edit the individual part and either reload that one part into the assembly or start a new assembly. Do you still have the .ipt file or equivalent for that one piece?

  • You are an adult and your actions have consequences.

My man. You don’t realize that the consequences of you two breaking up means you two are no longer committed. You may be in denial of it, but you two were single from that point moving forward. Neither of you owed each other anything romantically and you are now on your own separate paths. There’s no taking her back. You’ve already expressed your incompatible life goals. It’s time to move on and get back in the dating game. It’s hard and this may not be your last heartbreak.
