My point is that the only reason the USA “wasn’t fascist” in the 19th century was because the term “fascism” hadn’t been invented yet. It’s ahistorical to use that term. However, fascism is very much based on and directly inspired by the colonialist slave society that existed the USA in the early 19th century. Mussolini and other early fascists talked openly & extensively about this. As has been said, Hitler treated other Europeans like Europeans had been treating their colonial subjects.
I wasn’t talking about voting, and I’m certainly not discouraging anyone from voting. I’m not sure why you got that from what I posted. You were saying that the USA wasn’t fascist in the 19th century, and I’m agreeing, but with a big ol’ asterisk.

In 2024, Trump met with the Palestinian imams who the DNC snubbed and said there needed to be a ceasefire in Gaza. This is a big part of why Trump carried Michigan. I doubt Trump convinced many Muslim Americans and their friends to vote for him, but it appears he successfully convinced enough of them not to vote for Biden/Harris.
I’m not saying this makes Trump better on this issue than Biden, because Trump was obviously lying. I am saying Trump read the room better and “did politics” better, because Biden/Harris wouldn’t even tell that lie.
Personally, I held my nose and voted for Harris, but there’s no doubt in my mind that she lost because she and Biden were out of touch on Palestine.
