She/her pronouns. With the help of a lot of cool people, I got the meds I needed to rejoin piefed/lemmy. It wasn’t great by any means going full pi-bolar on someone that didn’t deserve it, yet here I am.

1·1 day agoNo, I’m sorry but those kiosks are horrible ideas. All of those places have food that you are expected to eat with your hands. You think phone screens are gross? Try a public touch screen. I have yet to see anyone other than myself wash their hands (or even just use hand sanitizer ffs) after or before using one of those kiosks. They are likely responsible for who knows how many infections.
All of that is ontop of making what should be a 20 second interaction into (at times) multiple minutes even for someone that knows how to operate/navigate them as they constantly try to needlessly upsell things while forcing you to move your hand across the entire height of the thing to make sure you spend the maximum amount of time being advertised to. They need to go away.

It is so incredibly rare that I see my favorite sailor in the wild.
I have to be frank here - no matter how cool this story may be, I was unable to make it very far because of the poor (read: complete lack of) capitalization and punctuation. It might be a me problem, but these things combined with it being a screenshot made this impossible to read without a headache.
sigh Russian alcoholic.
Everyone involved are giants and that is a contra bass.
I wonder what they would say if a candidate proposed the elimination of money.
It has a use which is engagement baiting people into commenting about exactly this, or posting a “fixed” edit.
That is his second best outfit worn on screen, second only to Zardoz.
I saw an odd site yesterday. It was a lifted 2020’ish Ram 2500 with all of the features added to make it say “I am very bad ass”. This included as large of an American flag as is allowed. Here’s the kicker - the flag was upside down. I’m still unsure if this was a statement piece, or a moron.

0·19 days agoYou asked if I had read the manga. His name is Gatsu, and is translated to Guts. You made a very unsubstantial claim, then doubled down on you yourself not having read Berserk.

1·19 days agoYeah, I should have clarified here that the “parry” isn’t literal here, but learning to defeat a common enemy of everyone.

2·19 days agoNo, I very have much read Berserk several times. The “parry” here is not literal (I am well-aware that Gatsu eventually defeats Griffith with sheer brutality), but learning to stop capitalism from continuing to commit mass murder, (figuratively in this sense) rape those closest to you, and rule the world is paramount. Even if we have to chop off our own hand with a dull and broken blade in order to retrofit a crossbow as it continues to to do so. Defeat the demons that haunt you (and us as a whole) while accepting help from odd places (like Puck) and not being deterred by literally overwhelming odds. The thing that Gatsu cares about most in the end is saving the people he cares about (especially Casca, and in this metaphor she’s the one that capitalism attacked the hardest). Yes, for what is written he winds up on a boat and the new chapters are very slow to come out (yes, there are new chapters!) but in a sense that symbolizes an eternal struggle to find a cure.

4·21 days agoPart of the point here is that Guts eventually defeats Griffith in a mirror scene.
I understand how to edit posts. Please re-read and get back to me about the implied intent of that comment.
I honestly had no idea as to this before I saw a previous post. That’s how AMD markets this thing, though. I’d be very appreciative as to how I can edit this post in order for it to make sense to a wider audience.

Nobody gives me the raspberry!
