My grievances relate to the real actions of actual people in the real world, not some pithy catch phrase that makes everything someone else’s problem so I can feel smug about my superiority without ever having to lift a finger.

He knows exactly what he’s doing, and he’s going to continue to do it until people stop expecting machines to solve all their problems for them.

I just shake my head every time someone attempts to assert votes mean anything within an environment where a solid 90% of the content is inorganic.

I’ve never liked these sorts of arguments because they appear to presuppose a humanized God, who follows a similar thought process which is expected to be understandable to us. It also asserts before any arguments that evil must definitely be an immutable force in the world, while much of biblical teachings suggest that evil is very much mutable in many ways.

I’ve almost completely given up on “corporate” culture. Now I’m just studying music myself and enjoying listening to people play live. It really sucks because there are actually a lot of good artists out there, but if corporations are going to expend immense energy into burying good artists in favour of promoting mediocre larpers with “safe” appeal, then I’ll just look away from them permanently.

Their problem is that this event broadcast things which totally contradict the narrative they’re trying to build about what’s happening in the world.

The world is not nearly as schizophrenic as you seem to be suggesting. Most of people’s issues with America have been enduring for a long time, and that doesn’t change with the president.

Or, if you wanted to be more inquisitive rather than sarcastic, you might consider the origins of the word.

Maybe try recognizing that most people actually have very real, legitimate grievances which have been completely swept under the rug by assholes all too eager to avoid responsibility by painting those asking the questions as brainwashed.

Or continue condescending to the entire world so you never have to break the pretty illusions you’ve painted for yourself, and keep lamenting how the entire world is turning against you.

Anyone who thinks there’s something wrong with the fact that no artists are currently focused on it.

Depicting difficult subjects in art is one thing. Obsessing over depicting people’s failures is weird.

That’s an interesting thought I hadn’t considered. The Webb is about as quiet as we’re going to get anywhere near our orbit, but a lunar compound could very easily be much larger, and would be a great deal easier to service/upgrade.

There isn’t much, but there are actually a couple of hidden locations related to important sidequests, like the zodiac weapons. I think there might also be something there related to the post-game content in the International version, but I’m not certain.

I’ll actually copy a comment I saw recently by someone else who knows more about Final Fantasy than I do. Apparently it’s much older than that.

Though historically the ATB system was invented for FF4 and used by all games until FFX itself before being used again for X-2, though I think most of them had the option of “active or wait” like Chrono Trigger to pick from. I haven’t played most of those FFs to say for certain. Not that it makes it better, but it technically was the return to form and earlier games just had less you cared to watch happen.

It’s wild to me how he left partially because of FFX, which is widely regarded as one of the best, and is my personal favourite.
