Importing unapproved mining equipment sure sounds like an import law violation to me, which would likely be a crime. Revoke Visas and deport them.
The US admin will complain - at which point you can say “revoking Visas and deporting visitors that break the law is a policy idea we got from you”.
The truth is that Greenland is in the midst of a mining boom. The Greenland govt wants the mining companies’ money, so they won’t take strong action against this US mining company - but they also don’t want breeches of their sovereignty by ignoring their laws, which is what this US mining company is doing - so they simply complain, issue a stern warning, and hope that ‘someone else’ will solve the issue for them. Its cowardice.
“A strong warning will be sent to the rights holder with a reprimand stating that all future logistical matters must be notified and approved by the Mineral Resources Authority — before they are carried out,” the ministry said.

Ah yes, certainly easier and more convenient to boot into a live OS or hidden OS every time you need to mount a hidden volume (per VeraCrypt’s recommended guideline), instead of just using the hardware from OPs post.

Honestly? Good.
The sooner the world moves on from ever using Reddit again, the better.
For old threads with useful posts, there’s the Wayback Machine from the Internet Archive and several browser extensions that enable using it with Reddit seamlessly.
For everything else it provided, there are now far better alternatives.

Mate it’s not even illegal according to the AEC to mimic AEC livery and ‘how to vote’ forms and placards to trick Chinese immigrants into voting for the LNP.
Nor is it illegal to hand out “How to vote for Greens / LNP / Labour” cards at polling stations as a member of an opposition party, and deceptively place all preferences for the opposite intentions.
Nor is it illegal to mimic the AEC and puport to simply be a government representative enabling your application to a postal vote, while actually being from Liberal or Labor party and taking any submitted information as your own, to do whatever you like with.
So there’s zero chance they’ll care about a party misrepresenting their political goals.
Australians have very little freedom of speech enshrined in law, but what little there is aims to protect politicians only.
Just search. It’s easy. There’s heaps of data on LTT being shit, but particularly in Linus being a greedy, grubby little man.

Scroll down to ‘controversy’ and see if that’s someone you want to support.

All that and not one photo of them underwater…
Bummer. When this kinda thing happens to me I just accept the fate the universe has delivered me, and pick off the sticker for like 45 minutes while watching an episode or something.
No other removal method has proven reliably non-damaging.
I’ve discussed with my people. They said:
Please keep the nukes away from us.
We’re a (mostly) peace-loving people that just wanna drink some beer and eat Vegemite.
I’m disappointed with the US regularly, but gotta say it’s really great watching the current movement with Mamdami and El-Sayed unfolding.
What a beautiful Anas platyrhynchos stallion.

I don’t disagree entirely… But this feels silly omitting the land use and pollution of AI accounting for all the rare earth metals and resources used to create the hardware and the datacenters that AI runs on and in - which would be far more substantial than their real-estate footprint.

I did read the link lol. It talks about the social credit system literally used in China to score individuals. Is this confusing?
I don’t use AI, but I love that Wikipedia is at the same time an unreliable source for me, but a trustworthy source for you. Truly Schrodinger’s reference.
You should read their article on cognitive bias while you’re there.
Ahh, looks like home.
(I live in Australia).

‘Potentially’ because these are sales contracts and half the AI companies that have signed them could crash at any time.

Educate yourself, comrade.
If “Dirty Deeds” is referring to the AC/DC song, I find it hard to take a misogynistic undertone to that particular song. Its about a hitman that can sort out any problem, in cartoonish ways (TNT, cyanide, high voltage), it’s not meant to be malicous or serious… It was inspired by a kids cartoon (Beany and Cecil).
Germany has done jack shit to support regime change in Israel, they’ve been the most steadfast supporters of the status quo - perhaps even moreso than the US, which is really saying something.
They lost out on a UNSC seat recently because of their extreme history of bias towards Israel - https://www.politico.eu/article/german-fails-to-win-un-security-council-seat-in-major-diplomatic-setback-for-merz/
