minus-square@givesomefuckslinkEnglish11•6 months agoIt’s going to be a settlement and most likely it will be like tobacco and opioids settlements… States are supposed to get it to help the victims, when in reality it’s at best used as a random slush fund and excuse to lower taxes on the wealthy. At worst it’ll be used to directly help the industry that caused the damage.
