Pretty victim blamey, NGL. Norms should be in place to ask for consent (tacit or explicit) before touching someone else

Yes and we should also require chaperones on dates as well. No sex out of wedlock either.

Dude got his bicep grabbed and went to HR instead of telling the person. This is beyond stupid.

Should a woman “just tell everyone she doesn’t like it” if random people start grabbing her?

First of all, unless this dude works at a strip club, I very highly doubt random coworkers are coming up and grabbing his biceps.

I would buy this story more if it was a single female who continued to do this, but this just doesn’t add up.

Secondly, if a woman’s biceps were being grabbed by a man, I’d have no idea what the fuck was going on.

This story is fake as shit and ya’ll are treating it like it’s a case study.

No, we just treat it at face value, knowing little of the real situation.

And reality is, men ARE abused and harrassed by women, and it’s much harder for them to speak out about it. Which makes it even more important not to distrust these stories straight from the start - they get their dose of distrust and victimblaming everywhere else.

That’s not an actual reply to the point they made. I know it feels good to call someone a child but it’s more effective to actually address the discussion.

I speak to people on the level they’ve shown they should be spoken to, if that’s kindergarten so be it.

You’re assuming that they didn’t tell that person to not touch them. They didn’t mention it, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.

There’s not enough information from the OP to have reasonable knowledge of the events to say either way.
