If neo-nazis were to gain control of any western country today, the very first middle-eastern country they’d foster “international ties” with would be Israel. Why? Birds of a feather, of course - why wouldn’t they want “good relations” with the world’s best-funded pack of kapos?
It has literally already happened - the National Party in South Africa (you know… of Apartheid-fame) had put away all their overtly nazi paraphernalia as soon the liberals allowed them into government, but that didn’t stop these neo-nazis from being the first among all the Commonwealth nations to send high-ranking diplomats to Israel in the early 50s.
Israel was literally Hitler’s idea. He wanted to ship all the German Jews to British Palestine. The final solution was the backup plan, so this kinda tracks.
