Imagine being cooped up all day, only able to go outside 2-3 times a day. I’m with the dog on this one - if that sparks joy in them then the dog has the right idea!

Yeah - It’s Marie Kondo; not Marie Single family home with a big backyard

I’m not mad I get it, but she knows afternoon and evening walks are the long ones, in the morning we gotta go. Hoomin gotta leave.

I’m stepdad to my friend’s dog (I take him when they’re away for work).

I don’t work a regular schedule so I’m home during the day a lot and I’ve noticed that he has active hours. It’s usually about 4PM-8PM.

Dogs need 10-14 hours of sleep day and he’s ok to chill at home… until 4:00. Damn dog has a watch I swear. Then it’s “WE GOTTA GO OUTSIDE!”

I dunno my point. Maybe that dogs (at least this dog) don’t really feel “cooped up” once they get used to your work schedule. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yep, our dog does well with the school schedule but has a harder time when school is out. I also work from home. She snoozes away for most of that, but gets up to wait by the door at 2:30 like clockwork. She get SO excited when the kids come home from school, and so pathetic when school is out so they’re at their Mom’s instead

My pup walks on the way to/from work. Its a short walk, but gets a delicious breakfast, snacksecond snack and dinner after and absolutely looses her mind. (but doesn’t dilly dally, because: snacks!)

Seems a bit excessive if you ask me…

Edit: I meant for me, not for a dog. Was also being a bit facetious 😁
