“Join us for a #NintendoDirect livestream focused on #NintendoSwitch games coming in the second half of 2024! There will be no mention of the Nintendo Switch successor during this presentation.”

Set to be roughly 40 minutes long.

I liked the clarification “There will be no mention of the Nintendo Switch successor during this presentation.” 😆 Ok Nintendo, ok. We need to keep buying Switch games, we get it…

Any predictions? I guess the Zelda (WW and/or TP) HD remasters could come up, maybe the 2 titles left in the Metroid Prime trilogy get shadow dropped like the first one. I don’t have any high hopes for Metroid Prime 4, now I’m almost wishing it comes out on “the Nintendo Switch successor”.

2D Zelda rumors are abound as well.

I hadn’t heard the rumor yet, but the timing sure does feel right for one of those!

Especially after having just shut down Vimms Lair.

Metroid is the big question. My guess is that it’s a no-show again, but wouldn’t mind being wrong.

I’ve heard Fire Emblem remake rumors, so I’m hoping for that.

“Nintendo is proud to announce Mario’s Mother 3!”

It’s mother 3, but with sprite swaps. Just like Super Mario Bros 2 (usa). The main characters are replaced with Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Princess Peach.

The trans gypsies that they’re so worried about are replaced with individually different looking toads, since toads are all each a seperate unique gender (this is straight from Nintendo years ago).

And the whole world is like “none of this makes sense…”

My guess is they drop a new metroid prime remaster (or 2) and Metroid prime 4 comes up as a release title for “the Nintendo Switch successor”
