minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilinkEnglish6•1 year agoI’ve actually only ever heard wasps. Not sure if bees pollinate figs and get trapped too. I guess it’s not a farfetched idea.
The bee comment may have been a combination of two facts that get tossed around a lot:
Store bought blueberry muffins often use figs dyed blue
Figs often contain traces of bees that are difficult to remove
wasps too if im not mistaken
