Today, the Supreme Court has gone rogue with its decision, violating the foundational American Principle that no one is above the law.
The former president’s claim of total presidential immunity is an insult to the vision of our founders, who declared independence from a King.
If Nancy Pelosi and Donald Trump were drowning in the ocean (under circumstances completely independent of me) and I had only one life vest to throw out (and was also being compelled by some force to throw it), I, in complete sobriety, cannot say which one I would save.
I’d throw it where neither could get at it.
