It kinda was a sports thing lol

idk if you actually looked up it’s origins, but for anyone curious there was a NASCAR winner “Brandon” I forgot his last name, but he was being interviewed after the race and everyone in the background was shouting “fuck Joe Biden” (because they’re sheep, wtf does Biden have to do with anything in that moment?) so the interviewer possibly trying to cover for the network since you can’t exactly go cursing on there says (paraphrasing) “they must be saying let’s go Brandon!”

Naturally MAGA morons took that as “ThE mAiNsTrEaM mEdIa iS cEnSoRiNg Us! ThEy’Re CoVeRiNg FoR BiDeN! FaKe NeWs!” So now let’s go Brandon means fuck Joe Biden and also hints to msm manipulation.

It’s also a perfect example of how they NEED to be part of a tribe. That phrase includes you in the tribe if you use it with others that “know.”

Oh it’s political. Some NASCAR fans thought it would be funny to chant, “Fuck Joe Biden” near the cameras. The anchor incorrectly attributed the chant as, “Let’s go Brandon”. The Republicans near instantly adopted the second sentence as a slogan with a coded meaning.

The winner was a driver named Brandon Brown! The reporter says Brandon was talking about hearing the chant from the crowd. So either the reporter was trying to make this young man’s first win about him, or maybe the driver thought people were chatting for him instead of just screaming about politics… whichever it was, assholes took the reporter as “censorship.”

And that’s how the MAGA chant was etched in stone.

Poor Brandon; “This whole Talladega race win was supposed to be a celebration, and then it was supposed to be something that I was able to use to move up, and I really wanted to capitalize on that,” Brown told the Times. “But with this meme going viral, it was more of, I had to stay more silent, because everybody wanted it to go on to the political side. I’m about the racing side.”

That’s a man who’s aware the political machine will eat him with no regrets.

Maybe lives outside the US. Or just not living maybe in a “battleground” state like Ohio, Michigan or Pennsylvania.

If you live in a solidly Democrat part of a state that’s also solidly Democrat, it’s possible you’re like double-landlocked away from this sea of politically-supercharged excrement. In areas where most of the political campaign money ends up, even if you don’t want to pay attention, you’re force-fed this shit wherever you look.

I’m sorry for those who find themselves the direct target of republican propaganda. Trapped like labrats in a hellish social experiment of overexposure to nonstop toxic messaging, billboards and robocalls where “Biden’s coming to tAkE yEr GuNz!” or “Kamala Harris hAz TwO mOmMiEs” or whatever, on top of what’s already on the national infotainment industry.
