I blocked .ml months ago, and it took me a while to figure out why I’d see replies I didn’t know about. You can still see them and reply, you just don’t get notified if they reply again.
Solution, I block all lemmy.ml communities I see in my feed.
You can simply block the entire instance.
My feed is so much better after blocking lemmy.ml and hexbear.
Hexbear is all sorts of terrible
I’ve added midwest.social to that list.
