Man. News Radio was so good. I wish Phil Hartman was still here.

It really is crazy how well that cast worked together. Even Andy Dick was tolerable!

We went to the tapings a few times and Joe would do the crowd warmup before the show. I remember him saying, “I just flew in from the Million Man March, and boy is my hatred of white people tired,” and i think we should have seen maga coming. Off topic- we ran to our car that night because we were being chased by a man who was screaming, “hey, got any money?” That was kinda scary.

Ugh, that “joke” is terrible. I hope it went over like a fart in church.

You know how there are those celebrities which you’ve never heard a single bad thing about? Andy Dick is the opposite of that. I have never heard an anecdote from anyone who has met him which doesn’t at least cast him as an asshole, and it’s often more of a super creepy asshole.

Edit: But yes, News Radio was fantastic.

Can confirm. He kissed me on the mouth at a bar in the SFV. He was trying to embarrass me in front of his and my friends but didn’t like when i loudly proclaimed it to be like making out with a doormat that needed an altoid.
