Found on reddit. I’m told the reason for their visit is to intimidate the Haitian immigrant community there.

Anyone dressing as a Nazi and open carrying should be treated as an enemy combatant.

      Not being funny.

As an old punk I gotta say you all really, really need to bring back nazi bashing. Get a logo. Make shirts. Encourage face punching. Wear good boots. Fuck those shitheels.

You see, in other countries, these people would be in jail for this. Free speech should have it’s limits, when you start calling for violence towards ethnicities, and are proudly calling for the abolition of the democratic process (which is what larping as a Nazi is).

It is wild that this is tolerated in your country under the guise of free speech.

These people should be in prison (being rehabilitated, not being killed, again because that’s what a civilised country would do).

        the “paradox of tolerance”, really…
the philosophical issue is: who would decide what’s free speech and what’s not?
e.g. i know someone who was charged with “starting a riot” for staying at a protest camp, protesting the genocide in Palestine….
there was nothing close to a riot.
similar protestors have been called antisemitic and supporters of Hamas… by Kamala Harris….
that could easily be flipped to, “oh they’re intolerant of jewish people, not free speech, arrest them all” by some judge or cop somewhere….

the SPLC has done a good job of suing hate groups when individuals act on their hateful rhetoric… but the very freedom to speak and say “things should be like this!”, must be held as sacrosanct…
~plus, we can follow them home if they speak in public.~
