minus-square@T156linkEnglish4•3 months agoTumblr’s codebase is also both quite old and infamously terrible, even if it’s from being shuffled around companies a bunch. Centralising its backend into one platform doesn’t like too bad of an idea.
It makes sense that they’d want to move it to a single codebase rather than have both Wordpress code and Tumblr code in the same organization.
